Assembly ring twisters by Lema Lezzeni
Officine Gaudino produces assembly ring twisters in its LEMA LEZZENI division.
The models are:
BR-L assembly ring twister for threads up to 1,200 dtex
The BR/L machine model is a ring twister that uses the small-sized feed lever driven by gears, constantly dragging and with a cutter for cutting the yarns in the event of a single break. Usually this model is used for medium-fine and fine yarns (weighing no more than 1,200 Dtex), as the cutter has a weight limit where it can ensure efficient cutting and the feed lever pulley groove does not have the dimension in order to ensure that there is no overflow of double yarns of too high a thickness.
This model is only available with single motor for each spindle which is deactivated wthout braking in the event of a thread break. The drive head-stock is electronic: both the shaft that drives the delivery levers and the ring-rail are driven by independent motors.
All settings are made on the touch panel located on the electrical panel at the side of the drive head-stock. The box with the drop thread-guidees (called ‘mask’) can contain up to 7 thread-guides. The feeding creel can be locatd above the machine (in this case it is called ‘top creel’, usually no more than three packages in progress, due to machine heigth), or on the sides of the machine (side creel). The feeding packages on the creel are unwounded with tensioning brakes.
BR-H assembly ring twister for threads up to 10,000 dtex
The BR/H machine model is a ring twister that uses the larger feed lever that can be driven by gears or with clutch. In this model, in the event of a thread break, the feed lever is released and the relative motor driving the spindle is deactivated and braked or, in the case of spindles controlled by a tangential belt, the spindle corresponding to the thread break is released from the tangential belt and mechanically braked. Usually this model is used for medium and thick yarns (weighing no more than 10,000 Dtex). This model is available with choise of spindle drive by means of a tangential belt or with a motor for each spindle.

BR-F assembly ring twister for threads up to 50,000 dtex
The BR/F machine model has the same technical features of the BR-H model but the spindle drive is available only in the version of one motor for each spindle and it has been developed to process very thick yarns (yarns weighing between 3,000 and 50,000 Dtex), so it has an additional tensioning device for each thread eing fed, a double anti-balloon ring system and a HZ77 type spindle bolster.
BR-FI assembly ring twister for threads up to 10,000 dtex
The BR-FI model follows the characteristics of the BR-H model but differs in that each front of the machine has independent controls.
This machine model is available only with spindle drive with one motor for each spindle.
